New Deerhunter-Halcyon Digest out Sep 28

Finally, it’s official, new Deerhunter release coming this way soon. Pretty cool too, they’re doing this totally guerilla D-I-Y style promotion, by having the fan do it. On their new site, they have this vintage looking flyer that you can print and hang in your favorite public restroom or room, that’s cool too. If you take a picture of the flyer hanging somewhere and email it to them you get to hear an exclusive (or at least before it hits the web) new single and a b-side that didn’t make the final album. Everything these guys do just fills me with happiness so this shit is the best news I’ve heard in a while. In celebration I’m posting some good, no fuck that, AMAZING quality bootlegs from their set at Coachella. Hopefully these new tracks will see the light of day on the new album.
